Cranberry Sauce with Dates

Ingredients:
1 bag (12 oz) cranberries, fresh or frozen
10 pitted medjool dates
½ cup water
Zest and juice from ½ an orange
2 tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan on medium heat. Stir to combine the sugar and the liquid with the rest of the ingredients.

Let cook on medium heat for 10 minutes until the cranberries begin to burst in the sauce. Stir periodically to avoid burning on the bottom.

Once the mixture begins to thicken and almost all the cranberries have burst, remove from heat and serve! Enjoy!
