Fresh fruit and herb margaritas – 3 easy ways!
It’s officially summertime! There is an abundance of delicious fresh fruits and vegetables in season, herbs like basil, and mint are flourishing beautifully, and the sweet smell of BBQ’s and a sea salt breeze fill the air! There is nothing better to make than these fresh fruit and herb margaritas to your summer days THAT much more perfect! As I mentioned in the video, to make a non-alcoholic or kid friendly version, just eliminate the tequila and you have yourself a nice refreshing fruit slushy!
I love my watermelon and basil margarita because 1. watermelon always hits the spot and 2. that fresh basil blended with the watermelon gives this drink that extra oomph. They are the perfect pair- you have to try this combo!
The honeydew and mint margarita is probably my favorite out of the bunch. The subtle sweetness from the honeydew and the freshness of the mint are the perfect crisp sip that you need during the summer! I’ve always thought that honeydew has the most perfect “melon flavor” anyways!
The third margarita is something totally different. A grapefruit, cucumber and jalapeno margarita! This is definitely the most unique of the 3 – you know I had to add a little spice in the mix with the jalapeno. I loved the freshness and the kick in this drink! It would be perfect for a taco party or to sip on by the pool!
