The 4th of July is right around the corner! So I’m sharing with you all the best recipes you need for a fabulous Independence day!
Drinks
Fresh Fruit and Herb Margaritas! – Such a fun and simple cocktail, perfect for batch cocktails! Easily made alcohol free, as well
Limonana – Summer is literally incomplete without this, the BEST lemonade ever! Filled with fresh mint!
Appetizers
Bruschetta & burrata – There’s literally no better way to use up those beautiful summer tomatoes. Make this with some bruschetta bread, and of course burrata cheese makes EVERYTHING better!
Tomato jam jar – SO good, these can be made in a beautiful clear jar, or little individual clear cups/shot glasses for people to put small amounts on their bread!
Watermelon halloumi caprese – I mean really, it’s not summer without watermelon and cheese. Also AMAZING with fresh mint.
Spanakopita Quiche – Beautiful to look at and SUPER delicious. My kids love this quiche so I guess you can say it’s also kid approved!
Main Meals
Chicken Kebabs – Make these chicken kebabs to get your grillin game going!
Homemade In N Out burger! – The greatest of all time. If you’re not in a city with my favorite burger joint, these taste just like the real thing!
Chicken Shawarma – The most amazing chicken shawarma. I mean it, you won’t need any other recipe but this one.
Bruschetta pasta – Take that bruschetta & burrata from your appetizers and put it on some fresh pasta! You have yourself an amazing, no-cook sauce!
Pollo Asado Tacos! – We can eat tacos for any holiday and any day of the week around here.
Freekeh salad with shrimp and corn – Such a filling and hearty salad that utilizes all of summers best ingredients! Tossed in a Middle Eastern chimichurri, this is definitely going to be your favorite item on the menu!
Side Dishes
Middle Eastern Potato Salad! – No summer party is complete without a potato salad. This one has no mayo involved and its filled with fresh herbs and a lemon vinaigrette!
Summer Rice Salad – If you haven’t made this, you’re really missing out. Full of color and texture and really packs a flavorful punch.
Mediterranean Chicken Salad – I put this under side dishes because with the quinoa and chicken, it basically eats like a meal. Add avocado too if you choose!
Salads
Tortellini salad – Super simple to make! It really doesn’t get better than this! We can’t get enough of this salad in the summer!
Horiatiki Salad – The best simple Greek salad that goes with just about everything!
Simple Middle Eastern Salad – The Arab version of a horiatiki salad. We eat this for every meal of the day – including breakfast!
Tabbouleh – My dad is known for his incredible tabbouleh. He adds tons of vegetables to it to make it distinct from any other tabbouleh you’ve had!
Fattoush – One of my favorite Middle Eastern salads of all time! Extra crunch from those pita chips on top!
Desserts
Berry cheesecake icebox cake! – A simple no-bake dessert that can be made in advance! Perfect for the warmer months!
Strawberry rose & tahini shortcake with labneh whipped cream – A delicious, Middle Eastern twist on the American classic.
Nescafe cake – Another one of the greatest no-bake desserts of all time! Basically the Middle Eastern tiramisu!
The BEST fudgy brownies – Because there always needs to be chocolate on the menu!
